This is the starting of the year for OBA membership. We have a special way of getting your herd noticed by people interested in oberhasli. When you join OBA for $12.00 a year running from November 1 to October 31 each year, you will not only be able to participate in the programs, receive five wonderful newsletter but you can also have the opportunity of placing your herd name of the webpage for just an additional $5.00. If you would want to "make a splash," for just $20.00 for the year, you can put pictures and text equal to 1/4 page. What a wonderful way of getting your herd noticed. This past year, from November to October, there has been over 100,000 hits to the webpage. You can have the listing linked to your webpage and/or e-mail address so people can see your animals. What better way of getting seen? Just send your information to the webmaster and send the fee to the secretary/treasurer. Her mailing address is on the membership application under Club Information.

So join OBA and put your herd information on the webpage.

Now is the time to start thinking about those Specialty shows. The application for holding an Oberhasli Specialty is found under Recognition Programs, Specialty Shows. It would be nice to see an Oberhasli Specialty show in every district. Applications need to be in by December 31, 2005.
